Evidence Eliminator Software Experts!

BONZ^

MVP
EF VIP
I installed and run Evidence Eliminator v. 5.057
Now I can't send emails from my EF account. I get an error message saying "Error Sending Mail. Please Try Again." Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Worked fine on my computer

Try reinstalling the program. It works fine for me using Windows XP

Great program. I got it for free :)

take that spyware crap off your computer. im sure all it does is delete temp. internet files and cookies and such. it doesnt do anything that you cant do through windows. everything that is deleted is still on your computer. everything that you delete is still on your computer. it is marked as deleted, and is shown as free space, but is still there until the computer needs that free space on the hdd. an easy way to kill the possibility of bringing that deleted info back, is to run a defrag often (assuming you have used most of the space on your hdd) because it uses empty disk space(or space taken up by files marked to be deleted) as cache.

whatever

quik95 you might want to read up on what evidence eliminator is before you respond. There is no spyware in it. True nothing is ever really erased but this is about as close as you can come. The program writes a series of random 1's and 0's over the info on your hard drive to make the information that you deleted "unreadable" So do some homework and read about the program first.

I have the program with a patch (crack) for it and used it to clean out my hard drive. The second time I used it was yesturday and when it was done I got sent to this warning that listed my IP and it said I was caught for using an illegal copy and I might get arrested. That part didn't scare me though but what kind of got me thinking was the part about that said "because you used an illegal copy everything you tried to erase is now permanently stored on you hard drive or some BS like that. Now the program doesnt work anymore:bawling: .

your right. after spending a few minute doing my homework, i am now thoroughly convinced that EE is $150 piece of uselessness. the first page on their website told me this. i wont trust a company that resorts to scare tactics to sell a product. a few minutes later, i found that i was not alone:

and shortly thereafter, i am able to come up with a cheap wiping tool for all windows called BCWIPE. their site is friendly with no "Buy this to erase your porn" tactics. also this program actually claims DoD 5200.28-STD (department of defense wiping standard)
jetico.com ok there. i did my homework.

do you have a static ip?
doesnt matter anyways, their not gonna do shit. are you running a firewall? if you were, then surely it would have alerted you the software was attempting to access the 'net.

That about sums it up. I wouldn't pay for the program either and I don't agree with their tactics.

There are better programs out there that are free.

Look for one called autoclave it will wipe your hard drive clean, including your OS if you ever need to be totally clean. It takes about 12 hours for a 60GB drive though.

I had forgotten all that crap on their website.....I changed my mind I don't recommend their program.
