Everclearn Gain Alcohol...

So I live in California.. they don't sell Everclear here.. but from what I understand its not illegal to own...

I went to North Carolina a couple weeks ago and bought a bottle to bring back.. but it looks like I may use it this weekend at a party..

So my question... is it legal to mail alcohol? I looked at some websites that sell Everclear and they wont ship it to California!

So my next thought was to ask someone from here (EF) who lives in a state that sells everclear.. to get a bottle for me and ship it... but would that work?

Remember that the true Everclear is 190 proof (may be weaker in some states that dont allow 190 proof alcohol), so just a few shots could kill a woman.

1 shot of 190p Everclear = 2.38 shots of 80p vodka

Yeah, that law just changed like 3 years ago I think. I remember (barely..LOL) me and my friends all went and got a few bottles, and just kept taking straight shots of it....then went to the movies and get in a fight....and went home and drank some more. Ah, the younger and dumber days...LOL One of my friends puked on his very first shot, and we got a picture of him in mid throw-up. It was fucking great man!!!

i can get it in indiana (goes for $26.99 for 1.75L). however, i have no idea how illegal it is, and i am wary about sending something that is basically just edible gasoline in a truck filled with paper.

Also, you have to use ground shipping. I sold an airsoft gun on ebay a few months ago, and the lady asked if i had anything explosive in it. When i told her i had an aerosol can she said that i couldn't use priority mail. Apparently new post 9/11 regulations prevent people from sending explosive material on planes

I am from california too and have tried to locate everclear, but as you know it is illegal. I go to school in Arizona now where we have the 190 proof. It is legal to mail alcohol, but it has to packaged right because it can explode. I am also not sure about everclear since it is so high in alcohol. There are laws about intersate transport of alcohol, but I believe they have to do with people selling it. If someone wants to shit it to you that isnt selling it to you I dont imagine it would be a problem, unless of course it exploded while in transit. They may cause some trouble, especially in this day in age with terrorism worries and all.

I've shot it... its rough and I don't prefer to drink it straight..

Its great for punch and jello shots... less flavor then vodka but more potent.. makes it especially great for the jello shots actually.

The first time I ever drank/got drunk was on 3 shots of everclear in Dr. Pepper. The very thought of it makes my tummy turn. I was 18 and stupid though so that explains it. It burns to drink.

I've had a few everclear punches though that were so tasty the alcohol taste wasn't there. Too many of those can lead to unpleasant mornings.

2 one oz. shots of Everclear would be like 4.5 shots of vodka... if it was some 8th grader and the shots werent measured right, it could have easily been the equivalent of 6 or 7, and chances are it was chugged on an empty stomach. That could put some 120lb youngster in the hospital.

Vodka, Everclear, Gin = should only be for mixed drinks

151 is Bacardi's high proof rum. Everclear is 95% alcohol (190 proof) unless your state specifically doesnt allow it (in which case they usually have a 150 or 160 proof version).
