ever.love.a.whore?

Yep. My x wife. Slept with more guys than I care to mention. Cheated on me enough times to choke a camel. I stayed with her... respected her... showed her what it was like to be loved... Got her out of the drugs and alcohol she had severe problems with... and once she was stable on her own two feet, we divorced.... as I just couldn't handle all the damage that was done to me.

thing is didn't this make you a stronger person? Next relationship, if you find the right woman, everything will seem easy man. I've been through it...i'm just now feeling very comfortable..

Yes and no. It has made trusting women nearly impossible... and it still does damage me to this day.

Because she drank and smoked pot while pregnant, my daughter was born prematurely, and may require special education.

I will always pay emotionally... and my daughter will pay physically...

So I am nowhere close to being out of the woods...
 
yeah i did...i dated a girl who had already displayed whorish qualities before i started seeing her and then after we broke up, she became a groupie. it was really really disturbing at first and honestly took me years to fully get over. in my lovesick blind state, i wanted to marry the girl because i was so in love with her at the time. now i'm just happy i never contracted anything from her. not something i ever want to go through again but it definitely softens the blow for all future shit you run into when dating. like i just recently had to stop seeing a girl that i had been dating for a couple of months because she was still sleeping with the guy she told me she broke up with a month before she met me. i think a few years ago, i would've been beside myself but now it's like i'm more desensitized to it. it still bothers me but not to the extent it would have before. oh and if you're sleeping with two guys without protection at the same time and lying to them both about it, you're a whore in my book.

It's not that hard really. Just because someone has a few highly negative personality traits (whorish behaviour being one), it doesn't make them evil.

I have many female freinds with low self esteem who are wonderful people and attract men like mad. A lot of these girls think they're worthless, but I can see so many good qualities in them. A lot of other guys can too.

By the same token, I know several girls who really are whores. They'll fuck just about anything, but like I said that doesn't make them evil. Most of 'em are cute, funny and intelligent...all very attractive qualities.

And who ever said love was a two-way street? :)

Ok...in my opinion being a flirt and being a whore are 2 totally different things. Personally, I don't feel that flirting is a bad thing....unless of course you are taking it to a level where you are hurting or embarrsing others or yourself. Usually people that flirt are simply making suggestions that they have no intention to act on. A whore, acts on these suggestions.

It does not bother me if I go out to the bar with my boyfriend and another lady is flirting with him, or he is flirting with another....I trust him and I could not justify getting mad over a few bar room suggestions. I guess, I also have enough confidence in myself, to not feel threatened.

It is certainly too bad, however that you have let her know your feelings on this and she has not changed her behavior. Is it possible that she feels the need to flirt to the gain acceptance of others.

I understand what you are saying Pink.....But, Wouldn't you rather have him flirt in front of you, instead of behind your back. I guess, for me I act the same in all situations, whether he is with me or not, I have nothing to hide. Plus, I would feel very terrible if he heard through the grapevine that I was out and about being a flirt, if he had never before witness the behavior.

Pink is 100% right on that. It is COMPLETELY disrespectful.

Do on to others as you would want to be done on to yourself, I don't know why ppl don't think like that.

Even flirting when you are not there. It shouldn't occur, atleast to a misleading level.

Sometimes it's no wonder why men think all women are whores.

A friend of mine's sister (28 divorced - 2 years now) has slept with so many men in my area that the brothers of the men she sleeps with compare notes of what sexual activities were done.

THAT has got to be the most replusive thing I've heard yet.

Flirting, to me is merely a form of flattery or giving compliments. And my intentions behind my flirtatious words are harmless, and if I truly felt that I was hurting or threatening someone by doing it I would stop.
