ever know anyone on a personal level that got married?

LMAO. What would ya'll do without me?

its the death of freedom, hello nagging...;)

yeah, i got a buddy who married this girl whom i would love to say lots of bad stuff about but won't..........anyway, i swear he only did it cuz she's got good credit. but the way they speak to each other is most unsettling, i mean, everytime me and my gf go over there, he's makin' these remarks about buryin' her in a shallow grave and she's no better with equally nasty remarks. it jus' makes me cringe, they made the hugest fuckin' deal about their wedding, they owe so goddam much money because of it, they were borrowing from everyone they knew and took back 90% of all the gifts back. it just seems hypocritical to put this effort into a wedding but nothing into the marriage.

Lots of my friends have been married. A few are now divorced, including me. I honestly enjoyed being married, 5 of the best years of my life, and I have no regrets about it. Marriage doesn't have to be the evil thing most people make it out to be, it can be wonderful and satisfying. Unfortunately, most people get married when they really shouldn't, hence the bad rep about it. It's not something to be taken lightly, and it needs a certain amount of maturity to make it successful. Maturity being the key word.
