And it still does not seem clean enough?
I cannot stand days like these. I bust my ass in 4 rooms and they still look messy to me..Makes me want to throw everything that I own away!

It is not so much clutter. I kinda through away a lot already, just seems like it is always messy

My house has been on the market for a number of months now - which means every morning it needs to be "realtor ready". This drives me nuts anyway - I'd pay cash money to be able to leave my bed unmade. But the stinker is I can't make my cat stop shedding.... I have all light beige microfiber furniture - its like velcro w/ his fat body full of black fur.

wow..that sucks..
So how do you clean up his sheddings? My parents used to use on of those roll on lint picker upper thingys.

Good question.
I know the market up here is terrible..Not many buyers and a whole lot of sellers

I feel like a mean Dad sometimes because when I come home from work I am on the kids to straighten out the living room or clean the kitchen.

Mrs Longhorn needs some help, even though she has a part-time housekeeper.

Sometimes I have to tell myself to relax, the house isn't always going to look perfect.

Mine are doing their "chores" right now......I can do it all anymore now that they are getting bigger...yep as my 5 yr old said.."You are the worstest parent ever"

Yep. It pisses me the fuck off.

I love steppinn on legos or building blocks as soon as I get downstairs on my way to the laundry room. Or stubbing my toe on one of 5 ride on toys. As a matter of fact I gotta call the Goodwill people to pick up some of these toys. I got enough to supply 2 or 3 daycare places.

Matchbox cars are awesome to step on. Same as little brushes that go to my daughters my little pony things..
yeah I got two rooms full of toys.Every few months I try to go through them and get rid of some of them. The only thing that sucks is I have 2 kids that are home full time so trying to get rid of stuff when they are around has become impossible.

Yep all the sudden misc toys become their favorite toy and they throw a fit if you try to get rid of it. I'm actually giggling thinking of my little girl saying "NOOOOO thats one of my favorite toys!!!!"

Yes! Lol..My kids are the same way.Every thing is their favorite.
I used to tell my daughter they were broken so we had to throw them out, she is too smart for that excuse now.
My oldest son was the worst he would stand at the trash barrel and cry cause he would miss his toys..Very emotional. Funniest part is that not even 12 hours later he was in his clean room making another huge mess and had forgotten about the damn toys that were gone!

My daughter caught me taking a box and toy parts (since most are missing pieces) and was yelling at me telling me she was gonna tell her mom on me for throwing away her cootie game which she doens't have enough pieces to play.

lol, i remember that game.Along with "dont break the ice" and "hungry, hungry Hippos".
My kids would never threaten to tell their father. He is the king of throwing shit away..Cannot leave anything lying around or it will end up in the trash..

I'm a minimalist.

We put everything away each time we are done using it so there is never any mess.

I was taught to do this when I was a child because my parents were neat freaks. It has rubbed off on me as an adult.

It also probably helps that we have no kids either...

I clean pretty much every week. It's a never ending process.
