I swear I was, I didnt keep my credit card receipt - but I did price out what I bought on the menu and it didnt turn out right.

The bill was for $55 I got charged $66 - we tipped in cash and there was only 3 of us so they couldnt add on a gratuity or anything.

Should I go in and break some necks?

I'd be pissed, they added a gratuity on. You must've short-changed the waiter :)

we threw a 10 dollar bill in there for a tip - which is 18%.

we went there last night, the waitress was like "I served you guys a couple days ago" and I got a shady vibe from her. It's like a college bar type of place.

we all payed in cash last night - another guy said him and his friend were overcharged there too.

Money is important when you're in college, a bar overcharging is shady.

Pay cash, and check the bill. Nothing can be done about the past over charge so try to let it go, but learn from the experience.

Pretty common for the wait staff to inflate the charges to increase their tippage...

If you ever visit new orleans, watch your change. Every place we went, they tried to short change us -- even at Walgreens. It became absurd.

I went to a supposed "good" resturant a few years ago and they included the gratuity in the price. The thing is I had the worst prime rib ever. Half of it was fat, it wasn't cooked rare like I wanted and the waitress gave the most shittiest service I've had in a resturant. Plus the place wasn't busy at all so there was no reason for the horrid service.
