Ever been ill in work when you're expected to give a presentation?

Happened to me yesterday. I swear I've got that swine flu or some mutated killer version of it. Ok maybe not, but my tonsills look like they've been painted with bright red paint and finished off with spots of white. Needless to say the presentation didn't go well and I probably gave the impression I didn't care about what i was supposed to be saying.

So now I'm bored out of my mind, wallowing in muy own self pity because unable to sleep and p*ssed off because I haven't been able to make the gym because of illness for two weeks now. Fun times.

Exact same thing happened to me last Tuesday, had to give a presentation to Supervisors/head of all departments including my own (Tech Support) and I had a horrible cold that turned into laringitis, they couldn´t hear shit of what I was saying, I was coughing all over the place, the damn presentation consisted on them readind each damn power point page I made and then me giving a mini explanation in a soft inaudible ma´nly voice.... it sucked..... they did like it though and have done at least 40% of things I commented and suggested.... but it was so embarrising....
