Eventful day: Co-worker got killed, caught parents in the act, then

Firstly my co-worker Morton got a beam dropped on his head and died before he got to the hospital via lifelite. It wasn't a pretty site. If you notice im not sounding real sorry about it that's because I really didn't like the guy. I'll admit I didn't want him dead and I really feel sorry for his family-to which im sure ill be donating. Long story short we were flying in steel and one of the factory welded lugs(a non-union company from the South paying minimumal wages) broke, knocking him from a walkway. On the way down he hit his head on another beam--and ended up laying there in a huge pool of blood with his brain exposed.

So.........after giving testimony to the incident the job was shut down by OSHA for the rest of the week so they can investigate. So I stop by mom and pops and catch them in the act--thank god they didnt see me. I left, went home and decided to cut some boards in the shop. I now have a 3 footed cat because a certain kitten decided to jump on the table saw and swat the blade. I got her wrapped up and shit and in a cage and will take to vet in the am. She don't like happy.

So I decide fuck this shit, came in, took shower and am now having some cold ones. Thought about putting a porn in--I have this particular one I like where this gal just really gags herself on this dude--but im afraid my dick might explode or something so better play it safe.

Well think about it bud. A non-union low paying outfit just got someone killed because there $8.00hr non-certified welder was pumping out huge production to get that 25cent per hr raise coming up. If the GOP had their way we'd build our buildings like Thailand--30 story scaffolds made of fucking bamboo shoots. Don't get to excited--you'll be the one working in the inferior piece of shit.

Around here, Union or no, you gotta be certified if you're welding structural or pressure vessels.
An you're tested every year, 6 months in some companies.

Damnit man, I'd need a morphine drip after a day like that. Is your cat doing okay? I would try to get him/her somewhere ASAP. Sad to hear that happen, even though you didn't like the guy, no one deserves to die, esp. like that. Are you getting paid for the time off work?

Well actually I called my queer neighbor steveO who's an animal freak and he took care of her. He's more than qualified. Takes care of 20+horses among other animals here. And no.............$40.00hr down the drain. That's ok.......I wouldn'd mind a solid 3-4 month layoff.
