the first game was good. Turkey totally sucks and they don't even belong in the tournament the way they played. portugal and czech to the next round.

The Scandinavian officials really have it in for the Italians - another fucking terrible decision called by the referee on Luca Toni's header.

Dutch were fantastic last night.

dude, toni had like 6 headers on goal, 1 went in and was called offsides

they looked so much better than the first game, donadoni made smart moves

midfield looked stronger, i liked our aggressive forwards

we need to win and romania to tie at best

czechs could have been up easily 3-0. they choked and turkey said, "fuck it, we'll win the game instead." two thrilling comeback for the turks. this is why i love sports. great games = ultimate entertainment

croatia, portugal and holland are the teams to beat. i hoping for all thrilling games in the next round. i hate 1-0 games unless there is a golden goal. i also hate games coming down to PK's. it's sort of like deciding a basketball game based on free throws.

sigh....it's not looking good for me. i didnt work for 2 months and had to shell out 8 g's on my fuckin car on top of living off my reserves. in the red now

unless i have a big month in the next 2 months i'm gonna either have to postpone it or just not go at all. i was pumped for it. im gonna find a way to make it there either way, but more like september realistically.

the season lasts till the end of october i think

Sunday is the game of the tournament - Azzurri vs. Spain. Hopefully the real azzurri show up, instead of the soft crew that played the group games and qualifying.

my damn dvr only recorded up to the end of the first OT so I missed the end of the Russia vs Holland which pissed me off.

I'm glad Russia won though as I have been pulling for the underdog since I don't have a vested interest in any of the teams.

The tourney has been incredible. It's the first time I have watched Euro 2008 and I'm glad I have.

For the US to have any impact on international play in the future, they MUST start sending their players over to Europe to play in their clubs.

MLS soccer just doesn't have the depth of the Euro clubs and it never will until US players consistently play against tougher opponents.

Spain dominated this game.........they controlled most of the game and had many more chances to score. They deseved to win.

Turkey has 4/5 guys out because of cards and 2/3 guys out for injury.....if they beat germany like that i....i.....i......i have no idea what i would do but i would be very surprised.............germany has almost a free pass to the finals

Yea this is exactly the type of match that people that aren't into soccer end up seeing that turns them completely off of it. This match was boring beyond belief because of Italy's defensive play.

I completely agree that Spain deserved to win

Turkey had to play better defense. It's their own fault. Even Brazil the scoring machines play defense when needed. Letting the other team score within a few minutes is not going to cut it. They were on fire in the first half though. Too many players missing hurt them at the end. Still, alot better to watch then the boring ass Italians.

I'm guessing Spain is going to win easy tomorrow.
