I think because so much is made of anti estrogens that we forget controlling e is something all bodybuilders should be aware of, whether they're on cycle or not.
More often than not, guys OVERDO estrogen control and of course, if e is too low it creates plenty of problems, including low libido and lessened gains.
But even while off cycle, it's a good idea to keep estrogen on the lower side. This results in a tighter look and more overall strength.
Fr most guys, a simple natt anti e is fine. POST CYCLE Need To Build Muscle Inc. has enough to keep estrogen in a favorable balance. But for guys over 40, and especially for guys on HRT I'd suggest a little bit of adex -- 1/4 mg 2x's a week can really make a difference in the way you look and feel.
In many ways estrogen is the enemy of manliness." But we have to stay on good terms with it. Keep it in check, but don;t let it get out of hand. And whenever you get a blood test, get your e checked as well. It'll show a lot in regard to your overall health and ability to put on muscle.
