Estrogen levels or BP causing this?

went to endo and she suspected that fluctuating estrogen levels were causing my hot flashes, etc...What can I do to control this? I last did prohormone a year ago. She said they should return to normal after a while. I have taken letro to get it down recently but wonder if letro takes time to get out of system and then estrogen levels will tame down and stay put? However, i went and did BP test and it was 153/84. It is consistently in pre hypertension range. 140/89 or so whenever i get flushing period. It is like white coat. I walk into store, my face feels onf ire. I meet with client, i flush a little. Red eyes also when i workout? Could this be estrogen or blood pressure??? She said it could be both? Let me know what i can do to tame estrogen levels ?

Did the endo see any evidence of fluctuating estrogen levels or was it just speculation?

A year after a prohormone use there should be no effect on estrogen at all. Discontinuing letro will certainly cause an estrogen rebound where levels are high for a couple weeks.

You didn't mention your sex but I'm going to guess you're male. I too flush very easily; it happens much more often when my blood pressure is high. ED drugs like viagra, red wine, and sometimes HCG injections will make me flush. Oral niacin and melatonin or bremelanotide injections are also notorious for this.

What kind of shape are you in in general? The blood pressure is something you should get under control regardless. If you are male, not using any gear (or other drugs) and are still seeing estrogen fluctuations; then something is seriously wrong that requires further medical attention.

Did you ask you Doctor? Its hard to believe that she gave you possible causes and not a course of treatment. If that in fact is the case I would get another endo.

well my blood pressure was high at 153/84 that day. Other day is was 145/84. It varies throughout the day but not sure if that is the cause of my flushing at times. I have done all the blood work i need for symptoms of flushing. I am about to do carcanoid and then after that, it would rule out any serious medical condition. She said there is nothing she could really do for fluctuating estrogen levels. I didnt do any test for DHT, progesterone, DHEA, etc...which thought i might need to? But she saw no reason of testing for things like that. I believe my skin flushing is alot better since lower e2 with letro. tapeng down right now off letro. Maybe once i am off of it completelly after tapering......then my estrogen levels will remain lowerr. Before my estrogen levels were high at 53 pg/ml and that was being off of things for 6 months. So maybe lowering it and keeping it low will help. If not, it has to be blood pressure. She didnt want to give me anything to lower e2 because she didnt know my levels yet and also nothing to give for fluctuating e2 levels. she said they go back to normal eventually.....
