Were you living in one of those East European countries where a liberal government which defeated communism failed to deliver people's expectations?

If so that doesn't prove the former communist area was fine

The fact that communism has disappeared (apart from Cuba and North Korea) doesn't speak so much in favor of it

it all fell a part when the original founders of the communism died. Thats when all those greedy leaders (presidents) showed up and ruined everything. Yugoslavia used to be the 7th world power country. The 7th! What is it now? Nothing - all thanks to stuped polititians that wanted to take everything for themselves and create separate states: muslim state, orthodox state, catholic state...
You havent lived in Yugoslavia, it was not the same communism as in the other countries. I read that worldwide people were saying that Tito (our president) was nothing like Stalin and Mao Tze Tung...Thats why I'm saying this

All I said is that it was nice at that time. I dont know why americans are so freaked out about the communism. You guys would've like it too: if you had enough money to go on vacation every year out of the country (like Spain, Greece, Italy....) and you got 1 full month of paid vacation and all this with less fisical work than we do here in the States...
