Equipoise/Boldenone undecylenate is a veterinary steroid originally developed for use in horses. Boldenone has a number of beneficia properties making it a very popular used steroid in horseracing, greyhounds, racing pigeons, and also human use.
EQ/Boldenone, is very similar in stucture to testosterone, with the exception of having an additional double bond at the 1-carbon. This double bond is responsible, in part, for the drug having a more anabolic, less androgenic character than testosterone.
Equipoise added an 11-carbon long fatty acid ester to the steroid molecule, giving EQ a very slow release. Slowly realeased steroids appear to have a lower incidence of androgenic side effects and a more anabolic profile. Users commonly see a well-balanced, but slow increase in mass, strength and density.
EQ results are compared to those of Deca, but with slightly greater mass and strength, as it is more androgenic. EQ cycles are generally easily tolerated, with side effects reported to be minimal and short-lived. Side effects are few with EQ use due to its chemical structure, delivery and the pathways used to metabolize the drug.
The gains acquired from EQ are slower than most steroids, likely due to the extremely long ester chain. Most EQ cycles continue for longer periods of time to allow for the slower increases and because it is well tolerated. It's not uncommon to hear of EQ cycles to last over 16 weeks. The slow rate of progress seen with EQ also tends to encourage stacking, particularly with quicker orals.
EQ was historically used in moderation, ranging from 100-300 mgs. per week, as it was previously only available in low concentrations of either 25mgs. or 50mgs. However with the advent of more concentrated products of up to 200mgs./ml., dose schedules have increased and doeses are as high as 800mgs. per week.
In my opinion EQ is one of the best steroids out there today. I personally like the 200mg. EQ made by Ttokkyo and Quality Vet.
