EQ Training AND Diet Questions????????

Going to be starting up an EQ only cycle in a few weeks. This is my first cycle hence the EQ by itself. Im wondering if and how I should change my routine and diet for this cyclel. As far as training goes I follow a hardgainer style routine, low volume, high intensity training 3 days a week. As for diet I follow a CKD. I want to use this cycle to really harden up and gain some vascularity so my questions are as follows:

1) Should I up my training regimine to 5-6 sessions a week.

2) Is the CKD diet appropriot for this cycle or do I need a diet higher in protien.

3) Oppinions on how many mgs a week to run this cycle at. I was thinking 400 for 10 weeks but i may drop it to 300. (Newbie Remember):p

if you want to harden up then do your cardio, follow a clean diet, and don't over train. Keep your protein high and limit your carbs. I'm not sure how much diference a 100mg will make, but mabey someone who is more knowledgeable in their chemistry can help you.
 
i did a prop/eq/tren cycle last spring and while dropping 30lbs on the scale i still gained a visible amount of muscle mass (~10-15lbs)

i was doing a CKD style diet... i didn't follow it REAL strict. all i did was make sure i shot for ZERO carbs each day (not including the weekend carbups which were hella fun -- its like a treat for all your discipline during the week) and eat approximately equal portions of fat and protein. this would come out to roughly 69% cals from fat and 31% from protein. i ate as much as i wanted whenever i wanted but i made sure i tried to get equal portions of fat and protein.


its hard to get that much fat in. once i remember i was gonna make some bacon for lunch... i used a little over half of what was in the bag, looked at the remainder and thought "thats not gonna be enough for another meal... fuck it, i'll just make it all" i ended up eating over a pound of bacon. i was sick as shit
 
P.S SOLID..... I read in a similar post that you were going to try and EQ only cycle? If so did you start and how is it working, or do you plan to?

I am just about to start my 2nd cycle, 500mg/week EQ for 12 weeks, 40mg anavar ED weeks 1 to 5.

High protein and carb intake totalling 3500 calories a day.

hardened up considerably! vascularity was up as well... had veins everywehre. ( a lot of this was probably due to the great loss in fat )

my training routine was nothing out of the ordinary

Day 1: legs - really helped to get into keto faster when i did legs as my first workout of the week.

Day 2 : chest

Day 3 : back

Day 4 : OFF - on this diet i was exhauted by this point in the week and needed a day off. someitmes would do abs or minimal cardio

Day 5 : shoulders/arms

carbup on weekend.

i focused on doing primarily compound movements. squats/deads/cleans/bench/incline/chins etc... workouts centered around these basic compound movements REALLY take a lot out of you when on a keto style diet. took about 3 wks of struggling through shitty workouts before my energy levels came bcak up and i could really hit it hard. after all workouts (except legs) i would hit the treadmill for about 3miles (usually took 25-30min pace) this REALLY depleted my glycogen stores. i started taking an apple with me so that as soon as i got of the treadmill i could eat it, otherwise i'd start going hypo and getting all pale and lightheaded.

it worked really well for me. im planning to do the same thing this spring to get back into shape for summer. i lost a ton of fat and put on some nice size in the process.
 
Thanks for the response ripper. Sounds exactly like what I will be doing, just busting it on the compound movements. How did you feel on the EQ, when did it kick in??

the EQ didnt' kick in until after about 3 wks. strength started going up slow and steady after that. i think the tren is what really helped me out the most on that cycle though. got my strength way up (set PR's every week at the time WHILE on CKD) its a great compound to keep from losing muscle. i love EQ, but tren might be a better way to go if your going to choose only one.

just struggle through the first few weeks and work on your diet... after that your energy will come back up and the EQ should be kicking in and you'll start making some good gains in the weightroom. compound movements is where its at. takes a SHITLOAD of energy, but thats what it takes to lose the fat without losing muscle.

the EQ increased my endurance, pumps were better when lifting, strength climbed slow and steady, and by the end of the cycle i was looking really dense.

I'm just getting of a 12week cycle of Sus and Eq. I want to bridge out with the Eq.(800wk) for another 10 weeks or so......2 part ques.(1)is it ok to bridge with eq and (2) when should i start my clomid and hcg.....The cycle im getting off of is Sus 600wk and 700 Eq.wk. THANKS

bridge out with EQ? sounds stupid to me
