While I was waiting on my meds to be filled the other day at the local Walgreens pharmacy, I meandered over to the cold section and started looking for Ephedrine. Of course, the actual boxes are put behind the pharmacy's desk for safety reasons here in AZ (most people steal them), I came across 2 boxes of ephedrine:
1 ) Primetine Tablets which contain Ephedrine HCl 25mgs and Guafisin 200mgs
2) lol. I forgot the name of the box, but it contained 60mgs Ephedrine Sulfate.
I purchased the Primetine Tablets since I was already used to that ephedrine, but how strong is ephedrine sulfate at 60mgs? Is it comparable to the 25mgs HCl ?
Now, since they made it harder for us to purchase Ephedrine and I'd have to buy it off the internet, I was surprised that I could actually walk into my local pharmacy and it get there for 11$ for 60 tabs = 30 dosages (12.5 mgs each).
