Ephedra: positive on drugs test?

Hi all!
Will Ephedra Sinica (Ma Huang) give a positive on a drug test?
How long will it be detectable?
Would White Willow bark or Guarana give any false positives?

Depends on the test. IOC bans pretty much everything, including E HCL

Its for a friend, who is joining the police, in the UK. Not sure what they test for?

Well, I really doubt they test for that. The more normal the substance, the less likely they test for it. The test also gets a lot more expensive. The difference between setting up a narcotic (cocain, Heroin) test is 7k in the US, whereas adding the ability to test anabolics jumps that price to 40k.

Dude - just ask him what they are testing for.

yeah i doubt a police department is worried about ephedra use...probably looking for other things

ephredra will show up as a methanphedamine in an initial drug screen...but when you do a drug test you must get a positive/positive for it to be positive. If that makes sense! What I am saying is the initial screen will be positive, then you put the specimine thru gas spectramation and define exactly what "drug" is in the specimen...when the "dirty sample" goes thru the GS it will reviel that it is ephedrine. If ephedrine is not illegal to use then you are home free....
