Ephedra debate

I was just wondering if anyone saw the debate, or discussion, on c-span 2 a few days ago about Ephedra. There was a house subcommittee of state reps, and then a panel of presidents, vice presidents and ceos of companies that have ephedrine in their products. It went on for a couple days at least I know. There was a guy from companies such as Cytodyne, Metabolife, Stacker, and a couple others as well as a pbs journalist to chime in. Basically the Reps asked them about their products and the people from the companies didnt know shit about what was in their products, it was kind of funny actually. They also were discussing false advertising, giving buyers false results. Just something i thought was interesting. I dont know the point of the discussion, wondering if anyone knew about it.
