This is from MR.X`s article on CKD "SAMPLE CARB-UP: (6meals) –based on 200lb person—
1-2: 150 g liquid glucose polymers...like carb powders (ex..carbo max, dextrose..etc.) w/ 1 scoop protein
3-4: 75 g of liquid and solid glucose polymers...sugar cereals (frosted flakes,honey-nut-cheerios..etc) w/ fat-free milk w/ 1/4 cup walnuts
5-6: 50 g of complex carbs (low-GI)...oatmeal, brown-rice, beans, yams, sweet potato w/ 1/4 cup walnuts"

I follow this while adjusting for my body weight. Is there enough protein in this particular diet for the day? Where do meals 3-6 protein come from?

Yes, there is enough protein.....

Meals 3-6 proteins come from food.......you can add some protein powder, or whatever else as long as you fit the daily ratios.

Thanks Mr. X, I`m really batting a thousand now lol. I seem to be messing up this diet left and right, but after 2 weeks I think it`s perfect now. (after this adjustment) Day 7 was the ONLY day I did`nt figure my ratios on, because I just adjusted the sample meals on the CKD article. So I have to go back and do it again.

You know there is a STICKY on this board (diet) that says EASY TO USE CKD WORKSHEET, it does ALL the ratios for you, I designed it. All you have to do is put in your weight, so give it a shot.

Thanks again Mr.X, I tried the Sticky but it did`nt work on my computer. It offered to download something to read it but had to pay for the download... Funny, because I was able to view the one about the protein but not the CKD???
No big deal I don`t mind doing the figures it`s not hard just need a calculater... but I followed your day 7 because the different carbs were new to me.
Is there any other way to get that Chart on the sticky? Again MUCH THANKS.

HUH? it asked to pay...you must be doing something wrong, it's a free site here's the link:

Mr. X I may not have explained myself correctly. When I try to view it (there`s 2 the proein one and the CKD) I see the protein one fine, but when I try the CKD MY SOFTWARE DOES NOT SEE IT. Then on my screen A banner pops up (Which has nothing to do with this site) and asks "to view this you must download..." and That cost $.

So if my computer had the software I would be OK, but I guess it does`nt.
