Engagement Rings...

Most women try to create a word that others (mainly other women) would be jealous of. Like nice ring, nice house, good kids, and hub with good job. Instead of trying to find someone they love and will make them happy.



Note. This does not include the women that marry young to a loser and pop out kids. They usually go for the above for their second or third husband.

That is afterall what it's all about.....to show-off to others, especially other females.

When my ex asked me to marry him, he borrowed money to buy me a little rock ring. It took him 6 months to pay it back. I loved that ring b/c it showed how much he really loved me. I used to tell him I would be happy with a pc of wire if it came from love.
Bigger is not always better obviously, and I'm not 100% sure why I would want a big ass rock, but I would. I guess my tastes have changed ;-)

Not true..I am so not a show off (like YW is), I could care less about what other women think of me or what I have. I'm very low key and low maintenance.
For me, a nice ring is something I would love looking at.
