Endurance Athlete and AAS

I have a friend who is a high placing recreational triathlete. Last night we were discussing AAS and how it may/may not help him as an endurance athlete. This morning I have done a lot of searching on the topic and the only things I have been able to come up with are news articles about who was using - nothing concrete on what or how to use AAS for endurance training.

While most here are into bodybuilding, I thought since you all seem to be the most informed group on the net, that you would be able to point me (my friend) in the right direction.

My friend is already very lean - 9%. He would be looking for more muscle endurance, and faster times throughout all phases of a tri.

Isn't that the red blood cell drug? I guess we were wondering about AAS that helps muscles use that O2 better and can help with muscle speed.

Maybe there isn't such a a thing.

honestly, I would use Winstrol, Primo and test. I think the three together give a lot of muscular endurance.

some shy away from winstrol because of the hell it can be on their joints which for them isnt a great trade off. i personally never have had this problem.
 
winny gives me the duper dry joint crackling effect but as guardian pointed out, it's a case by case basis...personally i'm a big fan of EQ/test/var for muscular endurance as well as cardio endurance...but that's my 2 cents...
 
well, since he is more interested in athletics than he is muscle building, I would say not to run the multiple steroids like var and test combined. That's too much for what he wants. He wants endurance and the best thing that I have come across for endurance is EQ at about 400mgs a week 1-12 weeks or up to 20weeks. Cardio is my number one choice. I would rather be lean and muscular than big and bulky. I have always loved doing cardio high intensity. When I'm eq, I can seriously do several hours on the stair climber, running, eliptical etc. It works amazingly well, afer all..they do give it to horses :)
 
There is NOTHING that even comes CLOSE to Equipoise for producing incredible endurance.

Here is my ENDURANCE cycle I suggest for my athletes:

Weeks 1-8: Winstrol Inject, 50mgs EOD
Weeks 1-12: Sustanon, 250mgs
Weeks 1-12: Equipoise, 400mgs
Weeks 10-16: Masteron, 100mgs EOD
 
That looks like a decent cycle, but i don't know if I would personally use it for someone who cares more about running than someone who wants muscle. It is a good cycle, don't get me wrong, because you suggest 250mgs of test, which is actually a decent amount, and may just counter-act the drying effects of winny on the joints.

I don't know if this guy is that serious about stacking steroids like this, but we definitely need more info on this guy and what he hopes to achieve...

Hell, with the cycle you suggested Ross, he might just get addicted and become a gear head! hahaha.. Cuz by the end of that cycle, especially if he starts lifting, he'll loooovvve. it.. :)

You are correct, if you are not a Football player or a Fighter, this cycle may be too much for you. :)

definitely! I ran for the past 14 weeks eq at 300 mgs a week and no bloat, just steady gains. I put on about 10 pounds during the cycle. I'm still on in fact.. :) But, from personal experience, I would definitely say 400mgs per week is optimal for a runner.

I was a bit leary running 300mgs this time around, and it worked pretty well for me, but in the past, I have always ran it at either 400 or 500 with much better results.

My first cycle was 400mgs eq 1-12, winny 50mgs ed 6-12, one of my favorite cycles. I was about 8-9 percent body fat and cardio was insane. Your friend will be perfect on EQ alone..

1-12 400mgs a week. (300 being the total minimum).
