Empire State Building

I just saw on CNN that they've emptied out the empire state building and penn st. station, does anyone know why they've done this?

just a suspicous package, they are telling people its ok to go back now

Well what I heard was that a threat was made and then a dog sniffed something in the air that he did not like, I would not call that a false alarm. And even if it is it would take about 24-36 hours to search the Empire State building top to bottom to ensure safety.
