A Texas EF meetup...

... there are enough of us in Texas that there is no reason we couldn't do something like this.

I agree mamacita, you should be here, but it will be to help me with important stuff. Like making some new avaratar material and going out to party with some of our friends, and budget type issues for the Texas party. :)

As for the Texas thing, I'm definately in. I say Arkansas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma members could join us if they wanted to. I have a private, secluded cabin in East Texas near Canton which is great for parties! You know how we do it in the country: cold kegs, close the gate and put on the chain!! :lmao:

The Cabin sleeps 10 indoors, and others could bring a tent if they wanted or just a sleeping bag. Plenty of parking, fishing, a grill, a screened porch, sound like something you might like?

I am always comfortable when there is fishing, grilling, and friends. :) We can play some Chess, Volleyball, or shoot a few cans, make up rumors about EF personas and stir up some new drama :)

There is a full kitchen and bath but no laundry facility (sorry JH1).

It is in East Texas near Tyler. There are many places to Meet Up in Texas. Guadalupe?

Actually the cabin idea wouldn't be bad as long as I can be gaurenteed a spot inside to sleep. Lamamacita, you can always bunk with me if there isn't enough room. I don't mind. You don't snore do you?

Anywho, there are a few lurkers at my gym who rarely post here but they read EF. Some of them might be game.

I guess I'll could hitch hike all the way from South Carolina. Do you think that would work? lol. I've been told that I only snore when I am extremely intoxicated, but it isn't even that loud. More of a low growl. hahaha

Ok, well, just don't get intoxicated and we are cool. I just can't sleep next to a chick that snores. Its bad enough that I wake up every 2 hours with a hard on anytime a women is in my bed. Its even worse if I can't go to sleep because she snores.

The hitchhiking could work. Just show them your butt like in your avatar and guys will stop for you.

Yeah, I know. I dated a guy who snored so loud I swore that he shook the windows (esp. when drunk). Kinda weird b/c he was in perfect physical condition. I figured only large people would snore that loud??? Who knows.

It would be cool if people could hitch hike semi-safely back like they did in the ol days.

Depending on a few factors, I could potentially be up for this. I think I'm about 6 hours from Tyler, TX. That's striking distance.

I'll be in Austin April 21-23 for a conference. Otherwise, I don't stray from Big D too much........

btw, there was an EF Texas get together back in 2000. None of them are here anymore....I think.

I prefer the Cabin in Canton, TX. Over 6th street (I am a Horns fan) or the guadalupe.

I live in Mississippi right now, so it probably wouldn't be inconceivable for me to take a ride out there. Ya never know.
