gotta be careful with high-capacity mags on certain state game land ranges in PA.. for some reason having more than 6 rounds in a handgun or 3 in a rifle is not allowed. i don't understand it, because high-cap mags are legal in PA. years ago, i did see someone get nailed for this on one of the state gameland ranges.
was at the range one day just having some fun with the mak. hear 2 cars pull up while i'm reloading mags, not thinking much of it, i look over and it's 2 cop cars and a third is pulling in. immediately i took 4 rounds out of each magizine (see above
) they came up for some target practice. line was clear so we all start putting targets up. my normal shooting is from 10 and 15 yards, they went as close as 7. i don't remember what they were shooting, it was bigger than what i was shooting, and they were shooting like SHIT. they were doing slow-fire at full body targets and missing head shots from 10 yards. i pulled off a couple rapid fire strings and was shooting better than they were with slow fire. one of them looked at my target, then looked at my gun and says "wow, that's pretty good considering the size of that thing." i had to hold back from saying "yeah, and your target looks pretty bad considering what you're shooting!"
i thought it was pretty sad that on my 4th (EVER) outing at the range with a handgun i was outshooting the local cops.
