this forum is so big that i assume tht there must be a good share of current/ex boxers here.
Do any of you find that the use of a.s slows you down while on a cycle?

In my case i'm a 215lb hevyweight but i'm soon starting a cycle with the hope of getting up to about 230-235lbs but this extra weight will be useless if i slow down too much.A little reduction in speed would be acceptable since it could be substituted with good timing.

going to do a testoviron/eq/dianabbol cycle.
6'3,215lbs,bf10%

my train of thought is that is that as long as normal cardio/circuit training routines are maintained that losses in speed should not be too great while on cycle.

would i count as a boxer?? iam asking that because when iam working out between sets i box i jsut start punching or i shadow box..i look in the mirror and start boxing sometimes to..so would i be a boxer to? i hope so...just call me "ultraboxer"....

one more thing do you really have a big head??...if yes is it becuase your a boxer and you took too many hit in the head and it got big??

Hell no gear won't slow you down just use some anti aromatase to keep the bloat at bay. You may find an increase in speed.:D

shit man.. if anything somethin like winstrol will speed you up...

I only found increases in speed bro. When I first tried winny with my test I felt like I had quicker reactions, as well as increased aggression, which helped. Its given me nothing but help when fighting.:D

i would scratch the dbol, it will bloat the hell out of you. I would do test and winny. Keep it simple. Test will give you the size and winny will get you vascular, harder and MUCH stronger. it will help with the water retention from the test.

this is a tricky one. if you are already fast at your current wt., then I would probably try to stay there or only put on 4-8 lbs.

Too many times I've seen fighters go up in weight, only to get slower. When they drop weight again, their speed comes back. I think every fighter has that ideal range where both speed and strength "click". If you get out of that range, for example, either your speed or strength or both may suffer. Of course there are phenomenal exceptions, like Roy Jones Jr.

I agree with TheBear when he says to take out the d-bol. I have boxed since I was 10 years old and found that d-bol made me slow down alot. Once I gained the speed back, I started on sust/deca and found that I had alot of getting used to with my bigger body. Once I got used to it though, all my speed was back maybe even better, and my hits twice as hard.

It takes some getting used to and feeling a little awkward but definitely helps out.

I didn't juice on my days of boxing, but as long as you keep the bloat away, you are o.k. I would stay with winny and anavar, but if youuse the others, keep away from the bloat.

Im an amateur boxer. I've found that the increased aggression that comes with roids (along with good self control) makes me a fucking machine compared to how I was before I cycled. I would stay far far away from anything that bloats you, however, as water weight is virtually useless to you and can only hurt you in your weight class.
