Electronic Monitoring device hidden in a childs body

I merely mentioned that the government could then use and abuse the system. It's always a possibility with something like that. Then you jumped on board that part of the discussion and not caring if they tracked your kid. That changed the whole dynamic of the discussion.

America is a world power because it caters to people who can afford things. It's called CAPITALISM. Your last post contradicts itself BTW.

By the way I don't have kids --as I stated above--but the reason I brought this whole thing up is my wife and I went to the site where Daniel VanDamn was thought to killed(its just 6 miles down the road from our place) It was a very unsettling feeling ---we were reading some of the cards that other kids left at the site for the little girl.. Just breaks my heart..

But to think if there is something that could HELP deter these kinds of people. And it could just save one kid--then why not do it? Right now nothing is being done----kids go missing everyday----and we as a society accept it to some extent because we shrug it off like its the families fault or it can't happen to my family....I'm just throwing this idea out there. peace

its a good idea. i'd use it if there was some assurance that there wouldn't be abuse of it. i doubt there would be, as companies that sell home security systems don't use the info they have to break into your home. as long as the government with their bullshit watered down conservative philosophy don't get their hands on it, i'd want one on myself and my kids (which i will never have hopefully).

I never mentioned the government until you brought it into the discussion--Then I said I don't care if the govenment watches my kid. This was said because you took it upon yourself to say the government should not be tracking our kids---I agreed---and have stated a few times on here that the private sector would run the thing----But for whatever reasons you keep bringing the government into it....

everything you said about the government shouldn't be in your life is a contradiction when your setting here on the internet...Sorry but its true.

I agree and all i'm saying is this should be made available to anyone who wants it...I don't think the government would stick there nose in it---and guess what--if they did, and I didn't like it---I pull the chip out of my kid--its that simple...
