Electronic Monitoring device hidden in a childs body

Yes, but then it makes children of the poor a much bigger target.

I do agree with that----But that is where communities would have to come together and put up fund raises and things of that nature....I believe children of the poor are always a bigger target anyways---It would be all in the marketing of it--hell poor people have cable tv--even the internet(to some extent)--A few kids go missing in a community and watch how many people(poor or not) come up with the money needed to "HELP" pretect there children---

I wasn't referring to the scumbags 20-30 years ago. They'll ALWAYS be around. I was speaking generally about the damn nanny state that is being created.

And on the second note, I don't want the government to have any knowledge about what my child is doing. IT'S NOT THEIR PLACE to track my child, know his whereabouts, or know his habits.

I don't think it is either but one of you stated that the government could abuse this system...I don't think they would for it should be run by the private sector---I don't think its up to them to track the whereabouts of your kid either(never said it was) what I did say about the government is if they wanted to abuse this and stick there nose on where my kids are, I wouldn't give a fuck(the only people who wouldn't like it) is the people that are doing questionable activities...

Having the community come together to raise money for electronic ID tags within our childrens' bodies makes no sense. Especially in a poor neighborhood, where most or all of them don't have the money to begin with. What would happen if they got all upset since they couldn't afford to have their children tracked by the government is the state or federal government would step in. Here, let us tax you all more so we can track every child! Yippie!! What a lovely scenario.

Questionable activities....UNTRUE!! It's called privacy. Hey, if you're not doing anything illegal, why not let the government put a camera in your front yard. Well, hell, why not your living room too. Just to make sure you're OK because, after all, you're not doing anything wrong.

Also, if a private company can track your child, the government can get into their system and track the child, and later, the adult too. The NSA can get into virtually any system if it so desires.

What this nation needs is to have everyone smacked up side the head with the big 2x4 of common sense. If we stop accepting all this garbage that has invaded our lives over the past 20-30 years and just get back to a common sense approach to life, then we'd all be much better off.

. [/B]

Thats why I brought a war---because with the growth of the world and more and more countries that are accepting a "free state"--that is what brings in the garbage as you put it--lets face it --the garbage is here to stay and is growing(that is why I brought up a war)Can you honestly give me another way or example of how the people of this world will not except the "garbage" that is all around us and growing?

Like I said pull the tracking device out at 18(if the adult wanted to)---You don't think the government tracks what your doing on the internet-----Hell the internet blow up and everyone accepts it...why is that? Hell even you who said "i don't want the governmnet tracking me" then why did you decide to go with internet? Your blowing this way out of proportion(all I said is it should be available if anyone wants it--if you don't want it--guess what?DON'T BUY IT----

We need to vote out the people that want to create a nanny state or will not let people be held responsible for their own actions. We're still the majority, but we don't make that issue a priority when we vote. The problem is finding people that will make it a top issue. Presidents and presidential candidates are the best ones for this because they have a national stage. Plus, they have to keep saying it over and over and over and over....

Then we go back to the poor folks...if it's such a great thing and does the job you said it could...and the government tyring to step in and make everything fair (well, the liberals within it).

Ok---why aren't these same poor people on tv every night bitching because they are getting there cars stolen---because they can't afford lo jack---there not---and they wouldn't be bitching about there kids not having the device in them because the government would have nothing to do with it. YOU ARE BRINGING THE GOVERNMENT INTO THIS--and i'm saying it would be something run by the private sector---period!

Hell if it can be done---and there is a market for it---and it helps the "kids"and the families, then why not do it....America would not be an economic power of the world if we only catered to people that could afford things....Thats just plain silly.....
