my style seems to be elbows out but I keep seeing that it is better to get the tris in by doing elbows in, should I try to develop this or stick with my style, I have really long arms and get the widest legal grip I can
Elbows tucked, shoulder blades pinched, helps to put up more weight on the bench. I used to be an elbows out bencher too, and it makes a big difference.
I used to bench elbows out too and had nothing but shoulder problems. Since learning to bench with elbows tucked my shoulders are pain free and my pounds have gone up dramatically.
