Parabola

New member
can someone give me a link with pictures of people doing bench presses with their elbows IN?...i was told to do this to gain strength..since ive havent been getting any stronger then someone around her told me to go elbows in cuz out is for bb'ers

Great area Jayde!
Looking thru the list (didn't get all the way thru) the way I believe the floor press should be done is with legs straight, not bent, to take them out of the lift

just my .02

That was an outstanding site. I got some really great ideas. I will definately be visiting them in the future.

And the floor press probably is best done with feet flat. I used to do them that way, but got back cramps from it. Dave Tate told me on the phone that either way is fine, just don' t drive with your legs.

GREAT! I'm glad you guys like it.
We worked hard on that site.
If you haven't already, check out the rest of it, i have tons of other good stuff.
(its non profit, unless you count the tshirts).

I'm putting some strongman training info on there soon by the way- its SOOO cool.

jayde, the site is great. nice work Good descriptions on then exercises too!

Thank you. My partner, Roger is actually doing the excercise directory- he's been lifting for 10 times longer than I have (not really) and has been running meets for almost as long.
We both have bios in the bio section, or in the "meet the board owners", although to be honest, i don't have a whole lot of experience in powerlifting, but I've learned a LOT from running the site and discussion board.

Where could you purchase foam of varying sizes??

upholstery stores and fabric stores. I think 'foam' is even in the yellow pages but otherwise upholstery places always have it.

interesting. thanks a ton. I think that these would be more beneficial to the bench press than traditional board presses because you need to excersize more control during the switch between the concentric and eccentric movements.

additionally foam has to be cheaper than wood and weigh less on your chest =)

thanks for the reply jayde
