Alright I doubt this is a big deal but I'm just looking for suggestions. I did chest today made it through bench fine, then during incline my elbow messed up. I was in the middle of a set and I got this shooting pain up the back of my arm starting at the elbow. Couldn't do anymore incline or dips without serious pain. So I finished off with a few types of flies and headed home. I'm putting ice on it and taking Ibuprofin. Anyone have this happen and have suggestion on making it go away ASAP. I'm starting week 2 of my second cycle and don't want this to hold me back. Thanx
 
Sounds like you hurt your triceps or a tendon in that area. Ibuprofin probably won't help much. Try some naproxin, that will help a lot more.
 
Yeah I'm no Doc but I'm pretty sure it's a tendon back there. I've had it hurt before doin tri ext. but never something I couldn't work through like this time
 
well naproxin will hwlp a lot with the pain b/c it's a great anti-inflaminatory drug. Take 500mg every 12 hours.
 
Been there bro, been battling tricep tendonitis for almost a year now. Basically I had to quit benching, over head pressing, dips and skulls or overhead extensions for a long time. It's just now healing all the way. Most likely caused from the juice and heavy benching. I went into therapy-basically I could still train fine just had to adjust my workouts a little-listen to your body though. The last thing you want is it to progress to the point where you can't do shit.
 
Appreciate the experience. I'm gonna lay off it this week then I may try a brace if it still bothers me, I really don't want to lay off pressing exercises if I can avoid it.
 
I have been fighting with tennis elbow forever. I tried the brace, a shot, alleve. But the best thing I have found no shit man is those copper braclets or rest it doesn't sound like plan b is something you are interested in. Hell my bench was so bad that my left would go up and my right would just stay at my chest. So good luck bro
