you drink them straight? jeez you're the 2nd person this week to tell me that

No !

Cooked, with vegetables, oat or wheat cream

oh! thank god

is it cheaper to buy them by the carton than to just buy eggs, bust them and put the whites in a jar yourself?

About the same price (maybe the whites only is more expensive) but :

Liquid whites are much more convenient (when you take 10+ whites at a time)

You're sure not to have any yolk nore shells

We (in the western rich countries) have become lazy bastards and if there is something to save us time and energy it is called "progress"

:supercool

what other culture could think of the "Drive-Thru" and try to explain that to other countries who starve?

"yeah... we know that you work all day and have to walk 20 miles just to find food cause you're too poor to own a car.. and yes we have restaurants within 2 miles everywhere with cheap food.. but that's not enough.. we're SO LAZY WE DON'T EVEN WANT TO GET OUR FAT ASSES OUT OF OUR CARS!"

I get the cartons 2 for $4 or 2 for $5 on sale then freeze them, very handy.

However, I got 90 eggs at Costco for $10.19 which is only .11 per egg....worth the shelling & yolking IMO

I wouldn't freeze them... I'm sure the label says that :)

i buy a case of eggs 15 dozen at a time for 27$ CDN and well seeing that im eating 18-20 eggs per day it is well worth for me to shell and remove the yolk from them. now pice choppers i heard had pasterized egg whites about 18 egg whites for 2.50$ but i havent seen then yet. doctor is also telling me to stop eating raw egg whites for fear of semomilia poisoing...

Wrong again.....you most certainly can freeze them and the label reiterates that theory......... :worried:

I toss a few liquid egg whites (carton) in my shakes (am and pm), and havent caught the bug yet..*knock, knock*

Why not?? I've been freezing my egg sub. & egg whites in the carton for years with no problems.....they thaw out in the fridge & cook up good -- just like scrambled eggs so I don't see a problem....

and when you take them out of the freezer, you cook them ?

And you won't.
But anyways, the commercial egg whites aren't too cost effective relative to other alternatives :o

Of course I cook them.....I'm certainly not going to drink them.....yuk!

There's no discussion here

shelling eggs is a royal pain in the ass

plus..

liquid egg whites are pasteurized and ready for consumption...no cooking necessary

true, but you wont find me doing that any time soon.

Then tell why my "Better 'n eggs" container says "DO NOT FREEZE"

Thanks buddy.

I drink them straight up preworkout cause I don't feel like creating dishes that early in the morning. I have to dilute it in a glass of water or juice though.

I dunno about Better 'n Eggs but "Egg Beaters" is better than them :)

Read my label :)

Pasteurized and frozen

Never heard of better n eggs, but I'm assuming it's a genereic take off of Egg Beaters.......they are prob. cheaper, less quality, hence the reason you can't freeze.....I was talking true, past. egg whites can be frozen.........brainiac.......
