egg whites?

17 calories in a Large Egg. That is as opposed to like almost 70 just in the yoke. One reason to avoid too many yokes is that they have a fair amount of Iron in them unlike the White which is iron free basically. Men have a problem storing iron sometimes if they don't give blood once in a while. Also if you like your eggs scrambled: unfortunately exposing the yokes to heat and oxygen, which you do when you break the yokes up and cook them, creates free radicals in the process and we all have plenty of them without adding more. Sunny side up or boiled is a better way to eat your yokes. I am not saying any of this is a real big deal once in a while, but if someone has eggs every day it is something to consider. The main reason people are worried about egg yokes is because of cholesterol obviously which is actually BS as far as I am concerned. It has been proven that the more cholesterol you eat, the less your body makes to compensate. The main stimulator of cholesterol production for most people is eating too much garbage like white bread and pizza and stuff.
