Egg White Separator Device

Has anyone had any luck with any device that works as a good egg white seperator? Searched online but found only cheap ones that wouldn't work very well. It's a hassle to seperate so many egg whites each day & I'm too cheap to buy just egg whites. :)
 
I just crack the egg & pull the shell apart into halves, then flip back & forth.....

I usually will do a few containers full at a time (like 5 egg whites in a container) & keep in the fridge so I don't have to shell every day....

Easy once you get the hang of it....
 
That's what I've been doing for two years every morning to 8 eggs and I'm tired of it. There has to be a better way but I haven't found it yet. Still looking though. :)

Isn't life great? How completely lazy have we become as a society..........geezus...........I eat an upwards of 12-18 a day, everyone by hand..........prob. for 5 years now......I deserve a medal!

I love eggs, but damn boy. However, im not a fan of just whites, i want some color too! Although, i have been halving the number of yolks i eat.
 
Finding a better method for doing something isn't about laziness. In fact, one might contend it is lazy to continually do something inefficiently rather than finding a more efficient means. Hell, why invent a stove when you can just start a fire in your backyard and cook your meals. lol

It's not only lazy, but it's a waste of money.............in regards to time, I'll guaruntee that you can seperate an egg twice as fast as it takes to find that thing in the drawer, use it, then clean it.............L-A-Z-Y...........
 
Just buy eggwhite cartons, It's a little more expensive, but if separating the eggs is such a pain in the ass for you then it is worth it.
 
If it takes more time and effort then it isn't laziness. Now what you may want to argue is that it isn't the smartest way to go about doing it. ;)

By the way, the cheapest I've seen the store bought egg whites is for twice the cost of eggs.

now that's probably the most efficient way........I have an extractor, cause at one time I was lazy.....I'm going to try all three ways. Bran - you bring the stopwatch..........

That is friggin hilarious!! Get the booger boy one tho.........

Oh and I get my eggs at Costco for under $5 per 2 pack of 18 which is about 8 cents per egg and they are X large eggs too.....

Waaaay cheaper than the egg whites in the carton.....even on sale...
 
Costco is the shit...
It's more effecient to use a device to get the eggs extracted for you, and for such a minor cost it could be worth it in the end. All depends on preference and how much money you have to spare.

JKurz, that thing is fuckin' weird. It gives you the yolks though. I like the whites.

Love Costco!!

The weird-thingy device just allows you to separate the yolk & white.....just pour the white into a pan, etc and dump the yolk.....

I held off........came to my senses and realized I would never use it cause I'm not cleaning the damn thing everytime.........would look saweet on my mantle though....my bday was flag day, u can stil shoot me a present with no hard feelings....lol
