Just read an article that kinda freaked me out. it said that people who abuse steroids significantly lessen their chances of fathering children. is this true? Can gear lead to killing your sperm or at least lessen the chances of getting a broad pregnant? I would like to have a family one day (not now) and this got me a little spooked.
what is everyones thoughts?

My personal experience: While being "on" in cycles over the span of a couple of years... me and my girl never used any birhcontrol, she didn't become pregnant during that time. after about 7mo. of being "off" completely she becme pregnant with our son. I would say that AS reduces your sperm count significantly, but is comes rigth back up after a few months of being clean.

I had my sperm count test 3weeks into pct and it was 8million out of a normal 20milliion but the doc said that doesnt mean you cant have kids for all he knows I could be highly potent!

I hear you. I was worried too. I’ve been using gear on and off since I was 23 years old. {I am now 42 years old.} I got married for the first time at 40 to a 23 year old. We got pregnant immediately after our honeymoon while I was on a fairly heavy cycle.

So there you go. I had two things working against me; age & AAS use and it still happened. I also believe that having a young and fertile wife helped. Oh and in case you’re wondering; our baby is perfectly healthy and happy.

His mother and I have been married for a couple of years now and together for almost 6yrs. we are very happy together and our son is the most important thing in both our lives. Every day, we are working towards setting him up for success in the future. We raise him to the best of our ability/means, and our family is always close by to help out and make a positive impact in his live.
Yes you are right, he will be really happy his mother and I brought him to this world.

I guess it's an individual kind of thing, but having permanently shut down without the ability to ever have children of your own is the thing the frightens me the most when using aas, and I'm not even thinking about having kids at the moment, but later on with life I may.

nice to know i am not the only older guy on this site. when i was younger i had no idea how much i would enjoy being this age. congrats on the birth of your new baby!
