EF versus "real" people.

I was out tonight, but I couldn't be bothered with bars and clubs with all the bullshit and petty intrigue that goes on. Instead I came home early to post on EF. I figure if I am going to engage in small talk I find the EF discussion boards much more stimulating.

Do you think I have a problem...?

All the gay clubs were closed???

Well, Hanz, the question should be, "Is it healther to have stimulating conversation with people on a computer website, or have extremely unintelligent and boring conversation with people at a bar or club?" Well, it depends on whether or not you are looking for pussy.

I hate the repetition - i.e. the small talk that you go through with people you meet for the first time. I get sick of being asked about my job, and I certainly think it is dull asking people about theirs.

Then you get hit on by people you don't want to get hit on by.

The ones you do like are attached.

It is hot and smelly.

There are all these dramas and petty intrigues going on under the surface.

The cigarette smoke stinks up your clothing and makes your eyes water.

There are hideous drunk people.

You have to be nice to someone who strikes up a conversation, but then mistakes your courtesy for sexual interest.

blah, blah, blah... I am sure you guys know what I mean.

I *hate* that most of all, can't stand anything work-related when I'm not there. People who think their jobs are so interesting/important that I want to hear about it in a club bore me to tears.

i get in my spells where i dont feel like chasing women. id rather just sit at home and eat food and jack off 3 or 4 times and eat icecream

Sure small talk sucks but it's a necessary evil in order to get to know someone. I think that when people start choosing posting on a message board over talking to people in person they may need to re-evaluate what's important to them... JMO.

I personally much prefer speaking with people in person... it's much more interesting to me.

Heh, bulking should make your social life really excellent, it's the cutting that turns you into a recluse. At least for me.

Deprived, yes - doesn't everyone? But do you really feel depressed when you are shredded? I would think you should feel great?

I have to admit though, when I am shredded I want to be bigger. When I am bulking I want to be more shredded.

I think most guys developing their bodies only ever look great temporarily. I am always heading for that next goal, so I am a constant work in progress. At the moment I am bulking so I feel fat and ugly to myself. That probably doesn't help when i'm out either.

I go out when I am dieting - I just drink water. I am not a big drinker, so dieting doesn't kill my social life. Maybe I should start drinking more, then I won't find bars so annoying.
