I had rolled for about 2 years on and off on weekends. And now I am screwed up from it. Anxiety, depression, memory, loss of motivation, and just hate life sometimes. So my doc put me on effexor xr. While I do feel better do you know of anyway that I can find out how much I have damaged my brain. Because I know I have damaged it. Is there a test or something that can be run. I don't want to be on anti- depressants for ever, but I probably will be. If I don't kill myself first. I need to know what type of damage i have done and what i can do to get some of it back. My doc just gave me a script and told me to stop doing E. Which I did stop back in May, but it seems that as time goes on I just feel worse and worse. Please help, jay

I just copied this post, because this is the same exact way that i did E. And i feel exactly the same way.
I used ecstasy not even 50 times in my life over 2.5 year period. I never took more than 2 pills in a night. I never rolled more than once a week.
I did however have severe memory loss and ended up suffering from crippling panic attacks, overall anxiety problems, a sleeping disorder and severe mood swings from what was originally a mild case of bipolar to what is now a case of bipolar that has left me a very dysfunctional person. I couldn't even make it through a few minutes of conversation without forgetting what I was talking about at some point by the time I quit using it.
You can potentially get plenty of damage just by using ecstasy in a very typical fasion. I do believe that some of the problems were compounded simply by the lack of sleep and throwing off my circadium rhythm, but if I hadn't taken ecstasy, I wouldn't have had any lack of sleep or a screwed up circadium rhythm to begin with.
