Ebay sellers with less than 99% positive feedback....

I think I have had problems with almost every seller that was below 98.5% positive feedback. Brand new sellers are generally not so good either, they probably started a new account after getting nuked to hell.

What are your findings if you are an active buyer?

If they have 100's of positives you are usually prety safe. But my sister was recently just flat out scammed. She never even received the product at all. btw the guy lives in NY (if anyone wants to make a deal I'm sure she would arrange it... )

I've bought a bunch of stuff off of Ebay and have never had a problem. But...I don't think anybody was less than 99% positive in the ratings. If they did have a ding on their rating it was usually seemed to be a buyer bitching for a bad reason. I avoid bad rater sellers with a passion. My wife on the other hand.... I have to keep an eye on what she's doing if she's on ebay.

Say someone sold 7 items to 1 person and they were pissed, they could leave someone 7 negatives, that wouldnt help the %. The percentages seem to be off by a bit anyway.

I'd be wary if it was less than 90%.

You would physically have 7 negatives but the average would only factor in 1 for all 7.

I just got scammed for the first time by some dude in philadelphia. He had 1 neg and 64 positives. I filed a fraud report and opened a case with ebay's square trade but I think the asshole is not going to send anything. Looks like I may be going to Philadelphia for vacation this year.

I got scammed by a doc turned lawyer in Massachusetts. I told him I was going to pay a visit when in the area. His town sheriff called me. I felt good about shaking him up good. It involved about $700 which is money to me.
