eating too many potatoes?

youstoned

New member
I usually eat 6-10 chicken breast sandwiches throughout the day
because of work. On each sandwich i put in a whole baked potato chopped up.

I also eat it with rice and steak.

So is eating 9-12 potatoes a day a bad idea. Should i be replacing these calories
with foods that have more protein?

Would it also work good in a cutting cycle?

I'm no expert either but the bread jumped out at me, too. Eat that chicken alone son.. no bread.

When I cut, I stay as clean as possible. Literally I buy bags and bags and bags of tilapia... a meal will be 6-8oz grilled (plain as hell) tilapia with as much fresh asparagus as my heart desires. when i'm hardcore cutting that's about all i do, i mix up the veggies but i stick with tilapia. i love the stuff I can't get enough of it and it works wonders, it's really super light. if I'm not being hardcore however I switch it up and do grilled salmon and turkey cutlets on the george foreman grill.

natural and clean...can't beat that IMO. always works wonders for me. as much as i love sandwiches as you apparently do too lol can't do the bread if you want to seriously lose the bloat and cut up.

Damn, really? 10 chicken breast sandwiches.....are these fast food style chicken sandwiches? The bread plus the carbs from the potato must be massive

If you are trying to cut why would you eat that many carbs? Have you counted it up at the end of the day? Without knowing what kindnof bread you are using I'll go with generic whole wheat bread.
2 slices 160 calories 28 grams carbs 8 grams protein
Chicken breast 4 oz (yours are prolly double that) 130 calories 27 grams protein
Baked potato medium 130 calories 26 grams carbs 2 grams proteins.
Without all the other little additives your percentages are off
2520 calories total with 324 carbs and 222 proteins.
I would cut way down on the bread. It would also help to know more of your stats. Height, weight etc

wild or farm raised tilapia? farm raised fish are complete SHIT IMO. The diet's they are fed are usually the cheapest, crappiest stuff they can get their hands on and not to mention the problems with disease and other dead fish in the containment pond. There's a reason why it's cheap fish...

edit; to answer the thread.. depending on what your goals are, but I'd say you are eating WAY to many potatoes. Not to mention there are better choices for carbs you should be eating instead of the extra potatoes a day. That would NOT fly with a cutting diet.

I agree! You have to be more cautious now tho with seafood. With all the bullshit that happen in Japan and the oil spill a year ago in gulf of Mexico. Hard finding good quality shit

No kidding? Man I'm not even gonna lie. I usually just get 2-3 big bags from Sams, they're all individually packaged inside, easy to make I just thaw them out...I'm guessing this is no good lol

Semi related, too many potatoes in a given time period can kill you, they have a neurotoxin in them like peanuts and soy, eat enough in a sitting and it'll kill you (but don't worry, you've gotta sit down and eat several pounds of them)
