Easiest way to open an Amp?

I totally busted the shit out of the top of the amp and cut my thumb. Is there an easy way to but open the amp. Or do you just grab it and snap it?

I use an amp opener.

Use a steel file on the neck of the amp before you try and snap it off.

hold the bottom of the amp in a wash clothe. That will save your fingers.

A pen cap works nicely. Or take the insides of a bic pen out and use the pen "tube". I also like the idea of drilling a hole in the bottom of a workbench / table and snapping it off with that.
