dude he is a pro athlete he plays for the denver nuggets

Im not buying it. Some one told me that almost no one in the NBA benches over 225. Not that they couldnt but there is no good reason for it. With the exclution of post up guys. But why would a guard want to work out like a powerlifter?

Alot of people tend to underestimate the strength most pro athletes have, especially in sports other than football. If Tiger woods and Aggasi can put up over 300 I dont doubt that he can do around 300 either.

plus he is only 5'5 so his arms are really short so he doesnt have to push the weight that far

there is alot of power involved in basketball. and since he is a short guy he needs to be able to hold his own so he doesn't get pushed around.

well hes good b/c hes really really quick
true, but i am guessing he realizes that he is small so he is trying to make up for it by getting stronger. just my opinion

I saw that workout too - first up earl got an easy 315, tiger woods was up next and did a double, but I don't think he touched his chest on the last one.

Agassi got 400 afterwards, with a generous spot from 50 cent (who was yelling "It's all you man!" at him the whole time)

Then LL cool J kicked them both off the bench to do his set with 600.
