YEAH SUCKS...refusal to blow suspends your liscense and some other Bs.....I found out a little while ago the guy who got me, pulled a guy a year ago in his driveway. The guy took off in the woods and he chased him...He wasnt armed but the cop shot and kille dhim. The dudes family went nuts...

You don't want a DUI on your record, period. 20 years from now you could be leaving some family function driving with .09 and blow...boom SECOND DUI and your world comes tumbling down, they don't fuck around with #2.

I knew a guy who had 3 DUI's, heard his license was suspened for 7 years or something on the 3rd.

if you don't want to fight, just plea it out. Plead no contest, do your "sentence" and get it over with. You don't even need a lawyer to do this; if you can write a letter you can contact the ADA yourself; the DA's office has a traffic and misdemeanor section.
If you want to fight, check your account balances because you'll have to go into 5 digits to really battle, and that could be $10K or $30K.

really sucks...2x I have talked my way out of the cops giving me a DUI...i just plain got lucky both time....i learned my lesson..my car doesnt leave the garage even if i plan to just have a couple beers..because a couple beers for me turns into a couple shots too..and then who knows..i dont trust myself.
Another important thing to remember is:
NEVER PERFORM THE ROAD SIDE SOBRIETY TESTS
you know, those tests where you have to touch your finger to nose, walk a line, recite the alphabet... that type of thing. The ONLY reason the cops have you do that shit is to collect evidence AGAINST YOU to use in court.
