DUI in FL!!!

LOL WTF?? My friend got a dui and has to go to some kinda pretrial bs. Basicly he's got to check in once a week and get a piss test. Not allowed to do any drugs(of course) but not allowed to drink either! WTF is this? How do they test for this? Does it show up in you urine?? If so...how long can alcohol possibly stay in your body and be detected??
Just out of my own curiousity on this one...can they detect steroids in urine tests?

yes, alcohol can be detected in your urine but not normally used due to the different readings than blood. no they dont check for roids as that is an expensive and more in depth test and not a very common drug like the others.

They may require him to install a breathalizer in the car where he will have to blow in it before he can start the car. I'm not sure if this is limited to repeat offenders or not though

With a hair test , you can detect drugs in a person system for years...
