Yes it is OK to drive. Even if you get pulled over, you haven't been convicted of anything and no penalty has put in place that says you can't drive. None may ever be put in place.
If you complete your probation and everything else, you won't ever have a conviction, just a charge. Huge difference so behave while on probation.
