Drugs or AS?

How does customs know if the tabs are drugs (X) or if they AS (d-bol)? Do they do any tests or is it just by experience??

Just curious cause here in Canada it's not illegal to posses AS.

Also, if you are charged with drug posession, but it is AS, are the charges dropped????

At first sight, customs inspectors will have to rely upon experience to determine if some otherwise unidentifiable tablets are Anapolon, Ecstasy, corticosteroids or vitamins. A judge may rely upon an experienced law enforcement officers sworn testimony when issuing an anticpatory warrant. Of course this can, and has, been detrimental to law enforcement when defense counsel demands lab tests which reveal that the items are not controlled substances or completely inert.

If lab tests cofirm that there is no controlled substance, the People have no case. The People may voluntarily move to dismiss in the interests of justice, or the case will be dismissed on the defendant's application.

How long does this identification process take? Because if the package is seized and being inpsected, they wont know what it realy is until they test it which could take some time.

I guess my real question is how and why do they open packages if nothing suspicious is about it??

I'm imagine they use pill identification books, and may get them tested later.

Pardon me for my ignorance. But are you sure it's not illegal to posses AS in Canada? I thought it was. If not, that's fuckin great. All that paranoia for nothing?
