drug testing for gear

Was up fellas. I need some concrete info on gear and drug testing. My nephew has been training hard for about 4 years and has reached his natural potential. He is seroiusly considering using some gear.

The problem is that he has a really good job as a process control operator, $30 an hour. I know that gear doesn't show up in a urinalysis but his company does blood tests. He has never taken any form of illegal drug to date. Funny thing though his last blood test showed that he had been using creatine so it seems as these tests are pretty extensive.

I've always been told that most companies don't test for gear because it is so expensive. When they test for gear is it just a normal blood test that would show creatine, or is it a different test altogeather. I just don't want to give him any bad advice that may cost him his job. Any and all replies from persons educated on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

first gear does show up in urine drug tests, If they test for it. As for this blood test i would be severley surprised if they test for anabolic agents, the drugs they would be interested in are meth, coke marijuana ect. But if he wants to play it safe i am sure they would never check his test/epitest ratio, so a testosterone only cycle would be clean. Of course there is aways a risk(as in anything in life) that this is some wierd company that really cares about A.S. use

they wont test for gear they only would test for street drugs. Gear testing is very expensive. They would tell you if they were testing you for gear. Its a whole diffrent test

They will not test for gear. But if they did the first test which would be ran would be the T/E ratio. Then if that was positive they would test for actual metabolites. So a test only cycle would not neccessarily be safe. Especially test with esthers.

As far as creatine. What the test showed was creatinine, which is raised by the intake of creatine, working out and eating red meat. Higher levels could be caused by kidney problems, but if you tell the doc you are taking these supplements, they usually understand.

But like I said, checking creatinine levels has nothing to do with drug test. It is only for health reasons.

Thanks for the replies fellas. I really don't think he has anything to worry about. But it would be his job on the line not mine. I attempted to reassure him that 99% of all companies don't test for gear due to the expensive nature of the test and the fact that it's not a mind altering drug.

Ultimately, yes it is his decision. However I have been in this game for many years and have quite a bit of firsthand knowledge about AS. But as far as the drug testing goes i've never had to worry about that. He came to me for some advice and I told him I would see what I can find out. Trust me i'm not one of people on this and many other boards that give newbies advice without having a damn clue what they're talking about. Shit there are people on these boards telling newbies how much of what to take without any firsthand experience, just what they read.

Believe me, I don't post a whole lot but i've been here long enough to know who actually knows WTF they're thaking about and who don't know their ass from a whole in the ground. Also if he didn't need my help he wouldn't have asked. And when and if he decides to juice, i'll probably get it for him. But I am DEFINATELY NOT A DEALER. I don't care too much for jail cells.

Anyway nautica I don't want to get into a pissing match over this. I was just hoping to get some useful info. for my nephew. nautica, if it means anything you fall in the category of the very few members that I take seriously because you are quite knowledgable.
