drug raid found juice in my house

i have 2 sons, one is 21 and one my step son is 18. a few days ago, the police and detectives came to my house with a seach warrant for my 21 year old son for drugs.the warrant was under his name. they found some weed and a scale in his room. then they searched my 18 year olds room in the basement, where my gym is. i left the steroids in his room in a shoebox, and my 18 year old got arrested also. i told the detective that they were mine and he said well we found it in his room, so we have to arrest him. my older son got charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute(5 or 6 grams) and possession of an electronic scale. my 18 year old step son was charged with possession of steroids and a hypodermic needle (hgh syringe,just 1). for my older son,21, this is his first offense. but my step son, hes on probation and has quite a record. if i went to court with him and he plead "not guilty" and i said it was mine and took the blame, would my stepson still get charged? or would it be put on me? and what are the charges for possession of steroids. it wwas only a bottle of winstrol (20-25 pills) 10ml of test e, and clenbuterol. i just dont want to see my step son to violate his probation and get locked up, cuz of my mistakes. hes been staying out of trouble since the last time(some of you may have read in my previous thread). i have a lawyer for them both. can someone give me some information.

i live in jersey. i brought the box in his room while i was working out and forgot it down there. my older son said he did deal. the detectives said theyve been watching the house. the detective at the precict said that, since the juice was in my sons room, they HAVE TO charge him, but then he said, if he doesnt want him to get in trouble, when he goes to court, just say that it was mine and he wont get in trouble. is it possible to do that? i do admit being irresponsible.
