Drug Laws

I just got through reading the post by "bigguns" saying that we should all join the Libertarian party if we want drugs(and Im assuming he means AAS) legalized, or at least decriminalized. Let me just say this about that there for the guys who might not know. I'm not sure of the year, but California did legalize marijuana for medical use in the 1990's. It was on a reforendum that was voted on and passed BY THE CITIZENS OF CALIFORNIA. There were pot shops that were selling State Legalized Marijuana(with a Script) soon therafter. HOWEVER, the Federal government still considers the drug as a "Non- Medicinal, Schedule I Controlled Substance" having NO medical value whatsoever, and when they found out about the people of California(of the people-by the people) going againt their assinine "laws", they decided to go after the shops that were selling LEGAL MARIJUANA, and prosucute them for "trafficking" on a FEDERAL level, considering that it was technically still ILlegal on that level. Of course, soon after this shit started happening, the people who were filling medicinal marijuana for whoever needed it LEGALLY, stopped for fear of (per)prosecution.

This is how our Country is run nowadays, just so you know. "Of the People, and By the People" no longer exists, at least when it comes to Drug Laws. Christ man, I was just watching a program on A&E last night where a Woman was actually prosecuted for voting for a "JURY NULLIFICATION" of a local "posession" drug charge, since she KNEW that the person, if convicted, was facing rediculous amounts of Jail time!! She was a JUROR mind you, and has the ABSOLUTE RIGHT to vote to NULLIFY the charges based on the fact that the Law in that case was unreasonable. It is a BASIC RIGHT that we ALL HAVE as citizens(as jurors), to keep the State from persucuting people UNREASONALBLY, and she was actually CHARGED for Abstruction of Justice(and convicted-then overturned by the Appellate Cout) for using her Constitutionally-given-right on a drug case!! The people of California had spoken out and WANTED the people who NEEDED the Weed LEGALLY, to be able to have legal access to it. The government in essence basically said "fuck you morons"! You don't know what you want, WE DO!"

My point is this: There are signifigantly more people in the USA who are gunning for the reformation of Pot Laws, than there are for AAS laws, and they are getting pretty much nowhere. They have a National Movement Group(Norml) for fucks sake! What do we have? Nothing close to that, thats for sure!

So as much as some(if not all) of us would like to see the Laws pertaining to AAS change(My personal opinion is that anyone over 21 should be able to get acces w/ a Script and checkups), it simply isn't going to happen, as long as the only group wanting such change is our rather small little "clique" that we have here, and locally at our gyms. Considering that maybe 1% of those people are Soccer Moms(who seem to always be able to get shit done), I doubt that we have any pull whatsoever in making this happen.

I take solice though in the fact that the Cops don't go looking for AAS users like they would a Rec. Drug user(or seller) I suppose. In that aspect, the fact that we are a "minority group" actually works to our benefit. Also, I really dont mind the 50% markup on a vial of T200 either ya know?! So lets just accept & adapt shall we???

Just some thoughts.....Zerx:D

LOL

Dupont(spelling?), the famous plastic and synthetics maker was responsible for the demonizing of maijuana. Its all about money not sense in governemnt and politics. Little is it known that marijuana was one of the most common used things prior to dupont "paying" off the governemnt to make it illegal so he could profit.

It was used in clothing, paper, medicine a whole lot of shit. When you look at why things are legal and illegal in this country and you look at other country with legal drugs that have less crime and better living standards it shows just how money and connections make laws in this country.

By the people. ROFLMAO More like fuck the people. As for juice it makes even less sense being illegal than marijuana.

As for groups. LOL Come on now, how could we possibly field a group to combat the pull of the supplement and bodybuilding mag industry. They could "donate" a billion dollars to politicians to vote how they want them to vote. Just like all the pro-marijuana groups can't combat the prescription medicine and other industrial lobbyist that could "donate" a 100 million to politicians that vote how they want them to.

These politicians spend 2 million trying to get a 250,000$ a year job, that has crooked all over it from the begining.

Money runs this country, not common sense, not the people, just money!!!
