OK since I couldn't find a source of anabolic steroids no matter how many questions I asked or how long I waited - I went to my doctor. He was totallly cool and has started me on a weekly shot of Depo Testosterone 200mg/1cc peanut oil based. Will I make any gains? I'm 207 lbs.

Wow, he went along with your wishes! I wish my doc was like that. Does your insurance cover some of the cost too!!?? I would think you will make a little more progress than normal with that amount, but I have no personal experience with anything less than 500/wk.
 
Ya he said there's such a wide range of "normal" test levels in men that an individual can be in the normal range and still feel like he doesn't have the snap in the gym that the patient knows his body the best. And yes my insurance is covering everything except the copay.

Do you know what depo-testosterone is? I asked for Test ethenate...

That is test enanthate. so you got what you wanted.

Well 200mg/week isn't a great amount, but it's better than nothing.

Do you know anything about steroids? Why would you ask if you will make any gains? So he started you onsteroids and you don't even know what to expect?... pretty weird I would say.
 
I was hoping that folks that have experience could tell me what 200mg would equal in pounds of mass. This is my first cycle. It seems that folks have been saying 500mg/week - 400/week minimum.

How much one gains on a cycle are dependent on a few things in this order: 1) Genetics-Some gain muscle easier than others, 2) Diet-You need to have this spot on for gains to happen, 3) Training-You have to train hard or you won't stimulate muscle growth, 4) Rest/Lifestyle-Staying up partying all night with strippers may be fun at the time, but it won't help your gains.

that was about my 1st cycle was just to see so to speak with that amount and some deca thrown in the mix and i went from 204 to 228 with no problem... my next is planned ,thanks to radar, with 500 test e and 400 eq. with the right pct this time,and alot more help from all of these guys on this site that are helpful i can't wait for the results..
 
When I was in the gym 2-3 hrs a day 3 times a week some of the roid heads were saying I was overtraining at this point I have no idea how much is too much or too little. Can you point me at a good workout plan?

Also I heard that animal protein doesn't absorb into your muscle as well as plant proteins if I'm to consume 200grams of protein/day what do you recommend?

And I'd give my left nut to find strippers to party with!

I don't know where to find Deca and I see at steroid.com that its terriffic to stack w/test. What does "thanks to radar" mean?

Animal protein is better than plant derived protein because it's complete protein. Plant protein must be combined correctly in order for it to be complete.
I would train 4 days a week for an hour each session.

Radar is one of the most respected mods on this board.

radar is a vet. moderator that responded and helped me to understand and plan aas alot better.. deca does stack well but it will shut you down hard if not pct'd correctly (learned the hard way)

He's often a moody muthafucka, but he helps you out when you need it and you can't ask for more than from a Mod.

He said six months but he says he will keep it at his office so I can't save it to double up. I've thought about going to another doctor and just running a double treatment all along the way but my doc said he was going to monitor my blood so I don't know.
