Drop Sets....

When is the right time to add these in...and what is the proper way to do them...for example...say on biceps...

standing EZ curl
seated dumbell curls
concentration curls
standing cable curls

That is not what i do, but for example sake where would you add a drop set in that?? all 4?? assuming your doing 3 sets? or just on the last one? the first one? would you do drop sets with every workout? once a week? I've done drop sets before but i dont know if i have done them (incorporated them) in correctly...
 
id do 2 standard sets then drop set the third set after taking it to positive failure this means quiet a few extra reps.
 
i like using cables for drop sets...

so like,

bb curl - 3x5
hammer curl - 2-3x8-10
cable curl - 2x12, 1 drop set

you can use db's or w/e, but cables are much faster
 
i use drop sets for the last 2 sets of the exercise with the weight being very low. I'll aim for 20 reps per set for the last 2 sets, and when I reach muscle failure I stop, wait a few seconds then pump out more reps till I get closer to my 20 rep goal.

Its been working great for me.
