Bush captured them.

Pros: Opportunity for interrogation and intelligence gathering.

Cons: Loss of US soldiers lives, cost, reduced access to bad guys, pressure to not thoroughly interrogate, detainee issues

Barry just blows them the hell up.

To me, the cost/benefit is worth it, even without the additional intelligence opportunity.

It's a true innovation on Barry's part.
