hmmmmmmmmmm, Well this is a little odd. I called his number (its is listed on anywho and it is the same number as was on the order for lab work) I got an answering machine, sounded like a personal residence. So I just hung up, about 5 minutes later I get a call from a TDD relay operator (the kind used for the hearing impaired) and he said "why are you calling?", I said "I was looking for drjmw", the person said "don't know who he is, don't call again" I said well I had some blood work done almost a month ago and I am awaiting the results and haven't heard back from him. He said "can't help you there, wrong number don't call again!" and hung up.
Don't know what to think about that, but I am willing to give the benefit of the doubt and wait a little longer. Otherwise it was a $65 lesson. I hate to see him go, he added quite a bit to this board.

Wow, this is not good at all. I had some bloodwork done and received my results 3 weeks ago. Hope everything is ok........by the way he is hearing impaired.

he hasnt been on EF since oct 8, you can check his ef profile to confirm that
i dont think its time to panic. people do take vacations (usually its helpful to announce them when people are depending on you heh)
c-russ's experience with the phone call does kinda worry me a bit though.. bro did you ask for drjmw or did you ask for him by name and you just didnt wanna post that? just curious
the doc has been around a while. i think he'll pop up soon and let us all know he was just sick of seeing FL hurricanes and took a little vaca

Oh no, I asked for him by his full name. I am confident that it was his residence that I called and the person I spoke with was either him or another deaf person that lives there and knows him well (having exposure to this before, I know the hearing imparied community is pretty tight). If I had to guess, I would say that he is under some kind of investigation, that would partly explain all the fuss over encrypted email and such. I am still holding up high hopes, but at the same time I am moving on.
